Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) joined SADAD payment system on 3 JUL 2010, to collect services fees easily and quickly across all bank channels in various parts of the Kingdom, as the Authority aims through this engagement to raise the level of service and facilitate the payment of fees.

The main purpose of the SFDA establishment is to regulate, oversee, and control food, drug, medical devices, as well as to set mandatory standard specifications thereof, whether they are imported or locally manufactured.
