Saudi Project for Utilization of Hajj Meat joined SADAD Paymet System Recently


 



''Saudi Project for Utilization of Hajj Meat'' joined SADAD Paymet System on 4 July 2009, to collect Adahi bills easily and quickly across all bank channels in various parts of the Kingdom, as the project aims through this engagement to raise the level of service for all Muslims and facilitate the payment of bills.

In order to realize this noble objective, the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia established the ''Saudi Project for Utilization of Hajj Meat'' to help realize the Shari'ah objectives of Hajj and to enable Muslim pilgrims to benefit form their Hajj and its rituals. The Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques entrusted the management of the Project to the Islamic Development Bank, and the first Project's expanded experiment started in 1403H.

In a bid to protect the pilgrims' interests, the Saudi Council of Ministers its Resolution Number 131 on 15.6.1419H (corresponding to 5.10.1998), designating the Saudi Project for Utilization of Hajj Meat, which is implemented by the Islamic Development Bank, as the sole entity responsible for the issuance and sale of coupons for all types of Hajj Meat (Hady Tamatu', Hady Qiran, Fidyah and Sadaqah). The Kingdom has provided the Project with all the requirements needed to ensure that all the animals slaughtered in all slaughterhouses of the Project meet all Shari'ah and health requirements.
