Sahara Net an Internet Services Provider joined SADAD

 




SAHARA NET joined SADAD on November 22, 2008 to allow its customers pay their due payments and purchase internet cards easily and quickly across all banks channels in various parts of the Kingdom, whether through the banks branches participated in the system, or using ATM machines, telephone and internet banking.

Sahara Net was established in 1989 as a small hobby Bulletin Board Service (BBS) to serve IT professionals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. By 1994, It was the first company in Saudi Arabia to offer Internet and E-Mail services to the public. This has lead to a wide-spread of Sahara Net services all over the Kingdom.

During 1998, Sahara Net established multiple partnerships with leading companies inside and outside Saudi Arabia. These partnerships allowed  to design and implement projects in a firm professional manner. With the Royal decree to officially license Internet services in Saudi Arabia, Sahara Net was approved and licensed as an Internet Services Provider (ISP) in July 1998.

SAHARA NET is run by a group of young Saudis who own shares in this company .and this gives the infrastructure of the company essentially built solid and well for the future.
