Zain Telecommunications Company Among the List of SADAD Joined Billers

Mobile Telecommunications Company Saudi Arabia (Zain in Saudi Arabia), a Saudi joint stock company under formation, is being formed to operate a mobile telecommunications business in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the terms of the third mobile operating licence that Zain in Saudi Arabia qualified for in July 2007, joining SADAD Payment System on 4 November 2008, as a local company with Saudi managers playing a pivotal role in the business. The scale of Zain Group operations makes it the fourth largest mobile telecommunications company by geographic footprint covering a population of more than 490 million people across the Middle East and Africa.

Zain Group has 15,000 employees and provides a comprehensive range of mobile voice and data services to over 42 million active individual and business customers. The Zain brand is wholly owned by Mobile Telecommunications Company KSC (MTC) whose shares are listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange (Stock ticker: ZAIN). MTC’s market capitalisation exceeded US$ 26 billion.

Zain supports education in Saudi Arabia, a testament to its dedication to the Saudi society and is looking forward to nourishing Saudi talent to contribute to the development of the knowledge-based economy in the Kingdom.
