Saudi Post joined SADAD on February 24, 2008 to provides electronic payment service, to enable its customers to pay subscription fees for Wasel services and the regular mail boxes through a multiple electronic channels, Whether through the bank's branches participated in the system, or using ATM machines, phone banking and internet banking.

The Saudi post has passed upon two main stages. Stage preceded the establishment of Saudi Arabia and the post establishment, after the unification of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the post witnessed vast developments until the Saudi Council of Ministers issued a decision in 10/6/2002 transferring the General Directorate of Post into a public corporation operates within the philosophy of the private sector. Number of steps were taken at the Saudi Postal Corporation like the establishment of new departments, launching of new services such as: Wasel the modern service of Saudi Post, which will enable  to receive and  deliver post up to the door where the installation of boxes and delivery of the keys, and the customer boxes services which are mailboxes available at the post offices and private postal agencies. These boxes are available for individuals, government departments and companies.

The Saudi Post institution is working to provide all postal facilities, to be close to the customers needs; and to facilitate them the trouble of going to post offices; as well as delivery of government services without auditing the government departments. Customers will be able to pay all wages through the electronic payment service; in easily and guarantee manner which leads to efficiency in the work ,therefore satisfy customers from individuals, organizations and companies.
