Riyadh Municipality joined Sadad on April 14, 2007 where it uses SADAD to collect its services fees from its customers (consumers and businesses), and these services include general municipality services and fines.

Riyadh Municipality core mandate is to implement and maintain public development projects according to an organizational chart approved by the competent, with tasks that include licensing construction and administrating buildings, maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the town, the development, operating, maintaining parks, forestation and public places adornment around the city.
