Ministry of Water and Electricity joined SADAD Payment System in November 11, 2006. which enable water customers to use the banking channels to pay bills and service fees for all water districts in the Kingdom under one name, where the customer will be able to pay the water bill anywhere in the Kingdom through SADAD.

The Ministry was founded in 1348h when King Abdul Aziz issued orders to import two systems to intensify and distillation of seawater intrusion, The first station formed the nucleus for the desalination of sea water, known as (Alkendasah).And between the establishment and the covenant which we live today series of accomplishments that represent a struggle story of a long and significant challenge.
