Madina Municipality joined Sadad on April 15, 2006 to enable its customer to pay services bills and fines. Madina Municipality e-government project is one of the leading e-government initiatives in Saudi Arabia that is considered a building block for a great vision of building a complete digital economy in the Kingdom that serves all sectors (public and private) in Saudi Arabia.
 
Municipalities’ core mandate is to implement and maintain public development projects, with tasks that include development, operating, and maintaining parks, forestation and the adornment around the city,  including organization and management of lands affairs, Municipality properties, and investment of these lands, in addition to keeping all the records pertaining to it.
