King Abdul Aziz University (KAU) joined Sadad on 14 February 2006. Initially KAU is planning to use SADAD services to collect its distance learning students tuition fees, and is planning to roll out all its other student’s related fee using SADAD.
KAU was established in 1967, is considered the second largest university in Saudi Arabia and the fourth largest in the Middle East. SADAD was established by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) to be the national Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP) service provider for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The core mandate for SADAD is to facilitate and streamline bill payment transactions of end consumers through all channels of the Kingdom’s Banks. SADAD aims to link all the banks and billers in the Kingdom in the near future.
