Arab National Bank was the 1st Saudi bank to link with Sadad payment system on the 3rd of October 2004. It was part of SADAD soft launch where it was very important for SADAD to have ANB onboard at that time in order to conduct real transactions. SADAD was established by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) to be the national Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP) service provider for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The core mandate for SADAD is to facilitate and streamline bill payment transactions of end consumers through all channels of the Kingdom’s Banks. SADAD aims to link all the banks and billers in the Kingdom in the near future.

It commenced business on February 2, 1980 when it took over the operations of Arab Bank Limited in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
